This month we are featuring Weihenstephaner beers for our monthly beer dinner.
The Weihenstephan Brewery can trace its roots at the Weihenstephan Abbey (Kloster Weihenstephan), a Benedictine monastery in Weihenstephan, now part of Freising district, in Bavaria Germany, to the year
768. The brewery thus is the oldest working brewery in the world.
1st course: Spicy lobster and crab shooters with spring onion and tamarind. Paired with Weihenstephaner
2nd: Pork schnitzel with mustard potatoes and thyme honey gastrique. Paired with Lager
3rd: Fresh greens in a hazelnut pear dressing with Fontina cheese and roasted apricots. Paired with Korbinian
4th: Seared duck breast with peach chutney, roasted spargel salad and potatoe puree. Paired with Kristall
